Chandler Parsons moves into 3rd place on all-time Grizzlies “Attempted DM Slides” rankings

Although Parsons is currently only averaging 6.8 PPG and has missed a chunk of the 2016-2017 season due to a knee injury, the 28 year old forward from Florida has achieved a feat that would astonish most current Florida fraternity brothers, as he moves into third place on the Grizzlies all-time rankings for “Slides into DMs Attempted”.  Parsons moved into the number three spot on Thursday night, passing former grizzly Jason Williams by just 2 Twitter direct message attempts and 1 instagram DM. “The game has changed a lot” said Williams, now retired and married with three children. “The kids coming through nowadays don’t understand the dedication it took to page all the women in your black book and wait hours by a landline for a call.” Vince Carter (40) still holds the current franchise record and is unlikely to be caught any time soon. However, at the rate Parsons is messaging women, he could easily take the second place spot on the list held by former forward Pau Gasol. “It’s the only record my brother won’t be able to take from me.” Pau stated.   As long as Parsons thumbs remain healthy, we should see a steady production of right swipes and DM slides in the remainder of this season.   Gil Worth  is the founder of the OAM network.   Bluff news articles are produced by Memphis Today Tonight
